Teen Shorts is a Film Festival for Australian students. Junior and senior divisions.
2011 Theme- Our Community
Find a story in your community and create a short film around it. It can be about someone you know or about something in your community. Try to find an idea that reflects why your community is individual and special. Be creative and find new ways to tell a story. Use animation or creative editing to highlight your skills and catch the judge’s eye.
Film length 3 minutes. Format digital video to be shot in 16:9 ratio. Films to be scripted shot and edited by students. One film entry per class. Schools are able to enter as many classes as needed. Entry fee $20.00 per class.
All films will be given a screening where students can attend and see their film up on the big screen in a regional festival and the winners to move on into a national competition where another screening will take place. Prizes to be awarded for each level of the competition.
